The difference of a 4 GB laptop memory

I was so proud when I upgraded my RAM memory to 4 GB last month that even my friends who use my laptop from time to time noticed the big difference in speed and processing power of this upgraded laptop. It was 2 years model of mac book slim and the Apple memory of that was still 512 MB when I first bought it so imagine the big difference in capacity now. Although it took me quite a while to upgrade the laptop memory as for me, it was fine as long as it worked, but now I felt the need when most program I run on it would not load properly since it lacked memory capacity already.
